Baby Potato and Peas Masala

Potato Love !!

All time favorite !!

Potato is must have in all festivities and when cooked with peas and ginger garlic paste is simply fantastic.This concoction is always a sure shot .


Serves :3

Cooking Time : 20 min


Ingredients :

Baby potato 150 gms ( Boiled & Peeled )

Peas 75 gms

Onion 1

Tomato 1

Red Chilly 1

Curry Leaves a few

Red chilly powder ½ tsp

Turmeric ¼ tsp

Ginger garlic paste ¾ tsp

Salt to taste

Oil ¾ tbsp


Method :

In a pan heat oil add mustard and urad dhal ( optional ) ,allow it to splutter.

Add onion ,red chilly and curry leaves , let it change color.

Add in tomatoes and let it get mushy.

Add the potato ,peas ,salt ,red chilly and turmeric powder ,toss.

Add a little water and close and cook for few minutes.

Now open the lid and fry well till oil separates.

Serve hot with rice /roti.
