This serves good for a lazy day or for a quick fix.

Serves : 4
Ingredients :
Rice 1 cup
Moong dhal 3 tbsp
Bottle Gourd 1 cup ( chopped )
Onions 1
Green Chilly 1
Red chilly 2
Red chilly powder ½ tsp
Curry leaves a few
Coconut 2 -3 tbsp
Turmeric ¼ tsp
Salt to taste
Oil 1 1/2 tbp
Mustard ¼ tsp
Urad dhal ¼ tsp
Method :
In a cooker heat oil ,add mustard ,urad dhal allow it to splutter.
Add onions ,green and red chilly with curry leaves .
Time to add chopped bottle gourd and toss.
Add chilly powder, turmeric and toss.
Now add the washed rice and dhal mixture with 3 cups water.
Add salt , coconut and coriander leaves.
Mix well .Close and cook under pressure for 10 to 15 min.
Release pressure and give it a mix.
Drizzle ghee on top.
Serve hot with ghee , papad and pickle.
