Cabbage Masala

Spicy yummy cabbage !!

The vegetable is enriched with flavour and makes a wholesome meal.



Serves : 4

Cooking Time : 20 min


Ingredients :

Cabbage 1 cup

Onions few

Tomato 1

Curry leaves few

Turmeric ¼ tsp

Red chilly powder ¼ tsp

Mustard ¼ tsp

Urad dhal ¼ tsp

Oil ½ tsp

Salt to taste


Grind to taste :

Coconut 1 ½ tbsp.

Fennel ½ tsp

Garlic 1


Method :

In a pan heat oil add mustard ,urad dhal allow it to splutter.

Add onions ,curry leaves allow it to brown.

Add tomato allow it to get mushy.

Add cabbage , turmeric and red chilly powder and toss .

Add the ground paste and toss ,close and cook till soft.

Fry till water evaporates.

Serve hot with rice / roti.
