Carrot Kheer

One of the easy dish ,which can never go wrong. All time favourite of the household.

The goodness of the carrot is cooked and blended with milk ,which is a drooling residue .

A second helping is unavoidable .

Kids Favourite !!



Serves : 4-6

Cooking Time : 30 min


Ingredients :

Carrot 300 gms

Sugar ¾ - 1 cup

Milk 1 litre

Cardamom powder ¼ tsp


Method :

Cook carrot with milk in a heavy bottomed pan ,till it is soft.

When it has cooled down transfer it to a mixer jar ,blend it to a smooth paste .

Now transfer this to a pan.

Add milk to clean up the mixer jar and add to the pan.Give it a good mix.

Milk can be used according to the required consistency .

Add sugar ,let it cook till the raw smell fades away.

Switch off the flame.

Add cardamom powder ,give it a good mix.

Refrigerate it .

Tastes best when served cold.
