Channa Kuzhambu

Channa Kuzhambu is yummilicious dish which is very easy to make and super tasty.

Kids will love it and its a vey healthy too. This was one dish which would be present in our weekly menu ,as it was kids favourite.


Serves : 3

Cooking Time : 30 min


Ingredients :

Cooked Channa 1 cup

Onions 1 ( chopped )

Cinnamon 1

Bay leaf 1

Oil 11/2 tsp

Salt to taste

Green chilly 2

Coriander leaves to garnish


Grind to paste :

Coconut 3 tbsp

Ginger ¼ '

Garlic 2-3

Cashew 3 - 4


Method :

In a pan heat oil ,throw in raw species ,let it splutter.

Add onions ,green chilly and some salt ,let it fry well.

Add the cooked channa and give it a toss.

Now add the ground paste with water , close it and let it simmer till raw smell leaves.

Garnish with coriander leaves.

Serve hot with roti / dosa / idly .
