Coconut chutney

This is the staple diet in most of the households. What makes it unique is the small frying of chilly, but makes a huge difference in the taste.The flavor is more intense.



Serves : 3

Cooking Time 15 min

Ingredients :


Coconut I cup [grated ]

Green chilly 3

Coriander leaves 3 tbsp [chopped ]

Curry leaves a few

Puffed gram dhal 1 -2 t bsp

Tamarind ½ “ piece

Mustard 1/4 tsp

Urad dhal ¼ tsp

Red chilly I [broken ]

Salt to taste

Oil 1 tsp


Metohod:

In a small pan heat oil fry chilly ,coriander leaves and curry leaves.

Now add to the coconut ,puffed gram dhal ,salt and tamarind.

Grind to a coarse paste.

Tamper it with mustard ,urad dhal red chilly and curry leaves.

Served with all south indian food.
