Very simple yet tasty recipe .As the name indicates its from a friend in Coorg ,who gave this recipe .The simple blend of coconut with spices when combined with chicken is simply awesome.Another main ingredient is ghee in which the onions are fried which indeed enhances the flavour .

Serves : 3
Cooking Time : 30 min
Ingredients :
Chicken 500 gms
Onions 1 ( sliced )
Ghee 1 tbsp
Salt to taste
Grind to taste :
Coconut 3 tbsp
Garlic 7-8
Ginger ½ ‘
Green chilly 5-6
Pepper ¼ tsp
Cinnamon 2’
Cloves 3
Coriander seeds ¾ tsp
Coconut 3 tbsp
Method :
In a pan heat ghee, throw in onions and fry till brown.
Add chicken , salt and toss .
Add in ground paste and toss.
Add in water stir and close and cook ,till meat is soft.
Now open the lid and fry till oil separates .
Garnish with coriander leaves.
Serve hot with roti / rice / doas.
