Drumstick Soup

A very rare soup ,with a lovely flavour and turns out to be one of the best appetizer .No one can guess the vegetable in the soup and astonishes the tasters. Very nutritious bowl ,plus a treat to taste buds.



Serves : 3

Cooking time : 40 min


Ingredients :

Drumstick 4 ( chopped )

Onions 1

Corn flour 1tsp

Milk 4 tbsp

Butter / ghee ¾ tsp

Cheese 1- 2 cubes ( grated )

Pepper to taste

Salt to taste


Method :

In a pan boil water add the drumstick and cook till it is soft.

When it gets to room temperature scoop out the fleshy part along with seed and blend it to a soft paste .

In a pan heat ghee / butter add onions ,allow it to become transparent .

Now add the blended paste along with water ( 2 – 21/2 cups ).

Let it boil till raw smell leaves.

Now mix the corn flour with milk and add to the soup & give it a boil.

Switch off the flame . Serve hot.

Garnish with anything that suits .Suggestions will be cheese or pepper or bread croutons.
