Chicken Fry is a very easy combination ,yet finger licking !!
This Chicken Fry is made with simple and minimalistic ingredients that are always available in the household The most important ingredient is the fennel powder which gives a wonderful flavour .

Ingredients :
Cinnamon 1”
Fennel ½ tsp
Red chilly 2
Green chilly 5-6 ( to taste )
Onions 2 ( sliced )
Ginger garlic paste 11/2 tsp
Curry leaves a few
Coriander powder 11/2 tsp
Turmeric powder ¼ tsp
Chilly powder 11/2 tsp
Fennel powder 1-2 tsp
Chicken 700 gms
Salt to taste
Oil 1 – 11/2 tbsp
Method :
Heat oil in a pressure pan ,throw in cinnamon ,fennel, let it splutter.
Throw in green and red chillies and curry leaves.
Add onions and let it change colour.
Add turmeric powder ,ginger garlic paste ,give it a toss.
Add the chicken and give it a toss.
Add coriander powder ,chilly powder ,salt and fennel powder and toss it.
Add water ( 1 cup approx. ) and close and cook ,under pressure . ( 10 min )
Check if the meat is soft .
Then allow it to cook to a required consistency ,till oil surfaces.
Garnish with coriander leaves.
Serve hot with rice , roti ,dosa .
