Egg gravy with potatoes

Simple yet exotic !!

Its a great quick fix gravy and its so easy to make in short time .Also the ingredients are always available at home. A great match for anything and everything.





Serves : 4

Cooking Time : 30 min


Ingredients :

Boiled eggs 6

Potato 2 ( cubed )

Onion 1

Tomatoes 2

Cinnamon 2

Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp

Oil 1 tsp

All spice leaves few ( optional )

Salt to taste


Dry roast and grind :

Red chilly 4

Coriander seeds 1tbsp

Curry leaves a few

Poppy seeds 1 tsp

Cashew 5

Coconut 1 ½ tbsp


Method :

In a pan heat oil add cinnamon as it splutters add all spice leaves .

Then add onions , let it turn color .

Add tomatoes and allow it turn mushy.

Add ginger garlic paste and saute a bit.

Add potatoes and toss.

Add the ground paste and give a mix.

Add required water and add salt .

Close and cook till the potatoes are soft.

Give it a boil for the raw smell to leave.

Garnish with coriander leaves.

Serve hot with roti / rice /idly / dosa.
