Ginger Chicken

Sumptuous chicken !!

This dish is adored by everyone who has tasted it at our household , especially my children's friends, who request me to make this one in particular.



Serves : 4

Cooking time : 50 min


Ingredients :

Chicken 500 gms

Soya sauce 1 – 2 tbsp

Chilli powder 1 tsp ( to taste )

Pepper powder ½ tsp ( to taste )

Salt to taste

Oil 3 tbsp


Grind to smooth paste :

Big Onions 4-5 (diced )

Ginger 3”- 4 “(chopped )

Garlic 8 -10 pearls


Method :

In a pan or pressure cooker heat oil add the ground paste ,salt and fry well on slow flame till the raw smell leaves.

Now add the meat and toss it.

Then add chilli powder , pepper powder , soya sauce and required water ,stir well ,close with a lid and cook till meat is tender.

Now open the lid and keep frying it till oil separates on the top .

Garnish with coriander leaves or leeks or spring onions.

Serve with roti / fried rice / parotta.


Note :

More ginger can be added if one likes high ginger flavour induced dish.
