Green Cabbage Curry

A quick curry nevertheless delicious heart steeling one !! It acts as quick fix at the sudden burst of guests and turns them to finger licking folks.



Serves : 3

Cooking Time : 30 min


Ingredients :

Cabbage 1 cup ( chopped )

Onion 1

Cinnamon 2”

Red chilly 1

Curry leaves a few

Oil 1 tsp

Salt to taste


Grind to paste :

Coconut 2 tbsp

Ginger ½ “

Garlic 4 – 5

Fennel ½ tsp

Puffed gram daal 1 tsp


Method :

In a pan heat oil , throw in cinnamon ,as it splutters add onions and curry leaves ,let it brown.

Now add the cabbage and toss.

Add salt .

Time to add the paste with required water ,close and cook for a few minutes.

Garnish with coriander leaves.

Serve hot with idly/ dosa / roti.
