This is a very different tasting gravy . The species are strong and very pungent a unique tasting which is loved by all .Kala Mutton Masala is adapted from my mother's friend kitchen . But was regularly made at home. When the children were growing up it was most loved dish and was made regularly.

Cooking Time 40 min
Ingredients :
Cut Meat 250 gms
Minced meat 250 gms
Onions 2 (chopped )
Tomato 2 (chopped )
Mint Leaves a handful
Turmeric 1/4 tsp
Oil 2 tbsp
Salt to taste
Coriander leaves to garnish
Dry roast & Grind to Paste :
Pepper 3/4tbsp
Green Cardamom 3 - 4
Black Cardamom 1
Cumin 3/4 tbsp
Method :
In a cooker heat oil fry the onions till transparent.
Add tomato and fry till mushy.
Now add the ground paste and fry .
Add mint leaves and toss .
Now add the meat pieces and minced meat and toss.
Add water ,salt and cook for 10 to 15 minutes (approx. 4 -5 whistles),till soft.
Open the lid and fry well till oil separates.
Garnish with coriander leaves.
Suits rice/chapatthi /dosa.
