Manathakalai Keerai Chutney

A SUPER HEALTHY TASTY CHUTNEY. A RARE COMBINATION FOR A CHUTNEY .KIDS WOULD ALSO LOVE IT.




Serves : 2

Cooking Time : 25


Ingredients :

Manathakalai keerai 1 cup

Green chilly 3

Puffed gram 1 tsp

Coconut 2 tbsp

Tamarind extract 1 tbsp

Salt to taste

Curry leaves a few

Oil 1 tsp


Method :

Heat oil in a kadai add green chillies curry leaves and toss.

Add the keerai and saute .

Add salt close and cook for a bit.

Now open the lid and saute till water evaporates.

Add coconut and puffed gram ,mix well .

Grind to a coarse paste with tamarind extract .

Tamper with mustard , uradh dhaal and red chilly. ( optional )

Serve with rice / dosa /idly.
