Mint coriander chicken is one of delicacies .Mint ,Coriander and chicken are best friends ,who goes hand in hand always. The fresh leaves blend with ginger garlic and further on addition of this blended paste to chicken leaves a beautiful aromatic gravy. This is one kind that can never go wrong.

Cooking Time : 40 min
Ingredients :
Chicken 500 gms
Onions 2(sliced )
Curry leaves a few
Cinnamon 2"
Fennel 1/4 tsp
Turmeric 1/4 tsp
Salt to taste
Oil 11/2 tbsp
Grind to a paste :
Green chilly 6-7(to taste)
Small Onions a handful
Coriander powder 1 tsp
Ginger 1/2"
Garlic 6-7pearls
Coriander leaves a handful
Mint leaves a handful
Method :
In a pressure cooker heat oil.
Throw in cinnamon ,curry leaves and fennel ,allow it to splutter.
Add onions ,let it get transparent.
Add turmeric powder.
Now add chicken ,salt and give it a toss.
Add the ground paste with water .
Give it a good mix .
Check salt and if need be add some more.
Close and cook under pressure. ( 10 – 12 min approx. )
Release the pressure ,check if chicken is cooked.
Now allow it to cook without the lid, till raw smell disappears.
Serve hot with rice or roti.
