Mint Coriander Chicken is on high doze in this recipe for the mint lovers. This is a versatile dish which suits all occasions and proves as a great side dish be it rice or roti or parotta. It’s easy to make and a never can go wrong dish.

Ingredients :
Chicken legs 500 gms
Onion 2(sliced)
Tomatoes 2 (small,chopped)
Cinnamon 1’’
Oil 1 tbsp
Salt to taste
Coriander leaves to garnish (optional)
Grind to paste:
Coriander leaves 1 handful
Mint leaves 1 handful
Green chilly 6-7 (to taste)
Onion a handful
Coriander powder ¾ -1 tsp
Ginger ½’’
Garlic 6-7 pearls
Turmeric ¼ tsp
Whole species (optional)
Curry leaves a few
Method :
In a cooker or pan heat oil, add cinnamon allow it to splutter.
Add onions, let it get brown.
Now add tomatoes and allow it to get mushy.
Now add the paste &fry till raw smell vanishes.
Add the chicken, salt, water close with a lid and cook on low flame ,giving mixes on and off.
When the chicken is cooked open the lid and cook till oil surfaces.
Garnish with coriander leaves.
Serve hot with ghee rice/roti/parrota.
Note :
If more gravy is required, then add coconut milk before switching off the fire.
