Moringa soup

A bowl of iron goodness !!

Moringa leaf is packed with iron , cooked with dhal leaves a simple yet nutritious soup.

Highly Recommended. !!



Serves : 3-4

Cooking Time : 25 min


Ingredients :

Moringa Leaves 1 cup

Moong Dhal 11/2 tbsp

Small onions a few ( chopped )

Tomato 1 ( chopped )

Garlic 2 pearls ( chopped )

Fennel ¼ tsp

Ghee 1 tsp

Salt to taste

Pepper a pinch ( optional )


Method :

Heat ghee in a pan ,add fennel ,allow it to splutter .

Add onions and toss.

Now add garlic and tomato one after another and toss.

Add the moringa leaves and toss.

Add required water with the moong dhal and stir.

Add salt give it a good mix ,close and cook , stirring occasionally.

Now when the moringa and dhal is soft ,switch off the flame.

Serve hot .
