Simply delicious !!

Must have in the Onam Sadhya !!

Irresistible and all time favorite for one and all .This can never go wrong ,also made with minimalist ingredients.This is very easy and simple, in a giffy a drooling sumptuous payasam will be ready.This is uncontrolable to resist a second helping.




Serves : 5

Cooking time : 40 min


Ingredients :

Palada I00 gms

Milk 1 1/2 liter

Butter /ghee 1 tbsp

Sugar 125gms - 150gms


Method :

Wash and soak the palada for 20 min .

Get the milk to boil in a heavy bottomed vessel and add the palada.

Cook for approx 25 -30 minutes on slow flame stirring it at regular intervals

till it gets soft.

Time to add sugar and let the sugar nicely blend and allow the raw smell to leave.

Switch off the flame and add butter and stir well.

Tastes good hot and cold.
