A tasty yet simple ,easy dish. Makes one drool over.
One of my favorite and one of the best dish which my mom used to make.
Serves : 3
Cooking Time : 30 min
Ingredients :
Prawns 250 gms
Ginger garlic paste ½ tsp
Onion 1
Garlic 1 tbsp ( chopped )
Lime ½
Turmeric ¼ tsp
Pepper ½ tsps
Capsicum ½ ( yellow & green )
Curry leaves a few
Green chilly 1 ( optional )
Red chilly powder ½ tsp
Oil 1 tbsp
Salt to taste
Method :
To the prawns add lime juice ,turmeric ,chilly powder and salt.( marinate for 20 min )
In a pan heat oil ,add onions ,allow it to brown.
Add ginger garlic paste and fry well.
Now add curry leaves ,green chilly and garlic , toss a bit.
Add the prawns ,mix well ,add a little water ,close and cook till it is soft.( 5-7 min)
Care should be taken not to over cook ,as the prawns will turn rubbery.
Once it is cooked ,open the lid ,fry well till oil seperates.
Ground in pepper and mix.
Garnish with capsicum and coriander leaves.
