Raw Mango Curry

Raw Mango Curry is simply delicious !!

Raw Mango cooked with chilli powder and jaggery results is beautiful spicy tangy sweet curry .This can be stored for a couple of days and can be used for rice / roti /rice.



Serves : 4

Cooking Time : 20 min


Ingredients :

Raw mango 2

Mustard ¼ tsp

Urad dhal ¼ tsp

Curry leaves a few

Red chilly 1

Fenugreek 1/4 tsp

Red chilly powder ½ tsp ( to taste )

Turmeric ¼ tsp

Jaggery 1 tsp ( to taste )

Oil 1 tbsp

Salt to taste


Method :

Heat oil in a kadai ,throw in mustard ,let it splutter.

Add urad dhal let it change colour.

Add curry leaves and red chilly , let it splutter.

Add raw cut mangoes ,red chilly powder , turmeric , salt , jaggery and water give a mix.

Let it get cooked till it get googy.

Can be stored for a weeks.
