Sabudana Kheer

Rich creamy kheer !!

Kiddies Friendly !!

A One of the most easiest and tasty sweets .

What is special ,is the almond paste addition ,which makes it drooling.



Serves : 4

Cooking Time : 30 min


Ingredients

Sabudana 1 cup

Sugar 1 cup

Almonds 9 – 10

Milk 1 tbsp

Saffron few strands

Ghee 1 tsp

Cashew 7 – 9

Raisins 10 – 15

Cardamom ¼ tsp


Method :

In a pan heat ghee fry cashew and raisins ,set aside.

Warm the milk and soak the saffron strands for a few minutes, the milk color will change.

Soak almond in hot water and blanch them and grind to a paste.

In a saucepan heat ghee and fry sabudana ,till it splutters, set aside.

Boil water in a pan and add the sabudana, let it cook till soft.

Now add sugar ,allow it to cook well.

Now add the milk to the sabudana mixture.

Time to add the almond paste , give it a boil.

Switch off the flame.

Add the cardamom powder ,fried raisins and cashew.

Serve hot.


Note :

If the kheer has turned thick add some milk.
