Healthy and wholesome meal.
This is a very filling meal which is blend with peas , tomato and ginger garlic paste .
The millet by itself is bland but with addition of spices and vegetable makes it very tasty.

Ingredients :
Samai 1 cup
Peas 1 cup
Onion 1
Tomatoes 2
Turmeric ¼ tsp
Curry leaves a few
Red Chilly 1
Green chilly 2
Curry leaves a few
Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
Lime juice 1 tbsp
Oil 1 tbsp
Salt to taste
Method :
Heat ghee in a cooker ,add mustard as it splutters add urad dhal ,allow it to splutter.
Add onions ,curry leaves ,red and green chilly and allow it to turn colour.
Add tomatoes ,allow it to get mushy .
Add ginger garlic paste and toss.
Add turmeric , salt ,and toss
Add samai and toss.
Add water and lime juice , give it a mix.
Close with the lid and cook under pressure for 10 min.
Open the lid and give it a mix.
Drizzle ghee and garnish with coriander leaves.
Serve hot with coconut chutney.
