Sausage Curry

A very different curry ,unlike the usual whole meat which is used ,this is an indo western style.The Western sausage meat is used in a curry with highly aromatic Indian spices. The bland taste of sausages sinks well with typical spices .It is a good choice for a lazy day.



Serves : 4

Cooking Time : 30 min


Ingredients :

Sausages 200 gms

Onion 1

Tomato 1

Curry leaves a few

Turmeric ¼ tsp

Red chilly powder 1 tsp

Coriander powder ¾ tsp

Ginger garlic paste 11/2 tsp

Oil 1 tbsp

Salt to taste


Method :

Heat oil in a pan ,fry onions to brown.

Add tomato and fry will mushy.

Add curry leaves and toss.

Add ginger garlic paste and toss.

Add red chilly powder and toss.

Add water and give a mix.

Add coriander powder ,turmeric and let it boil.

Add the sausages ,close and cook for a couple of minutes.

Open the lid and allow it to boil till raw smell leaves.

Garnish with coriander leaves.

Serve hot with roti / bread /rice/dosa /idly.
