Spicy roasted chicken is a whole some food which is protein rich as well.
Chicken is the most popular choice of protein source.In the search for protein sources the old recipes get bored.This was an attempt to create something easy new and tasty.This recipe can be baked ,pan fried ,tawa fried or even baked or grilled.This was indeed a big hit,it turned out delicious,spicy and was filling.Keeping weight watchers and protein seekers this was created .
Ingredients :-
Chicken 500 gms
Hung curds 1-2 tbsp(regular curd also works )
Kashmiri Chilli powder ¾ -1 tsp ( to taste )
Turmeric powder ¼ tsp
Kasturi methi ¾ tsp
Salt to taste
Lime juice 1 ½ tsp (to taste )
Cummin powder ½ tsp
Coriander powder 3/5 tsp (optional )
Ghee 1-2 tsp
Grind to paste :-
Garlic 5or 6 pearls
Fennel ¼ tsp
Cinnamon ½ ‘’
Cloves 2-3
Method :-
Mix all the ingredients expect ghee.
Marinate it for more than an hour.
Now you can skew it ,bake ,tawa fry or bake.
If its tawa fried add a one or two drops of ghee and flip it from one side to another.
On tawa it would take less than 7 minutes for each side.
Note :- Breast can be used for lean protein.But for an enhanced taste boneless thighs will be the best option.
