Sprouted horsegram kurma !!

Loads of proteins in a delicious aromatic bowl !!

Finger licking and healthy !!



Ingredients :-

Sprouted Horse gram    1 cup ( cooked )

bottle gaurd 1/2 cup ( chopped )

To season :-

Oil                             1 tsp

 Oninons                 2 tbsp ( chopped )

Tomato                     1 small ( chopped )

Mustard                     ¼ tsp

Urad dhal                   ¼ tsp

Curry leaves                a few

Salt                                to  taste

Coriander leaves        1 tbsp ( chopped )


Fry in oil & grind to a paste :-

Small Onions            8-10

Red chilli                 3-4 ( to taste )

Curry leaves            a few

Cumin                        ½ tsp

Coriander powder   ¾ - 1 tsp

Grated coconut        2-3 tbsp

Tamarind                    ¾ ‘’

Turmeric                    ¼ tsp

Oil                              1 tsp


Method  :-

In a kadai heat oil add mustard ,urad dhal let it splutter.

Add onions ,curry leaves let it brown.

Add tomatoes ,allow it to get mushy.

Now add the ground paste with water and salt.

Add the cooked horse gram and the bottle gaurd.

Allow it to cook till raw smell leaves.

Garnish with coriander leaves.

Serve hot iddli /dosa/roti/rice.

Note :-

any vegie like poatatoe ,carrot ,peas of your prefrence can be added.
