Tomato Dosa is a quick dish .Tomatoes blended with species and rice is high on flavour .A very wholesome Dosa and always stands out in a spread. Tangy tomatoes are loved by one and all and hence its all time favourite. This is bachelor friendly too ,for not much time is needed to spend on it.

Cooking Time : 20 min
Ingredients :
Idly rice 2 cups
Whole Urad dhal 2-3 tbsp
Tomatoes 4-5 ( small &ripe )
Red chilly 2
Curry leaves a few
Cumin ¾ tsp
Asafoetida 1/2 tsp
Salt to taste
Oil to drizzle
Method :
Soak rice and dhal for 3-4 hours or overnight.
In a mixer jar add chilly ,cumin , curry leaves ,asafoetida and salt ,grind coarsely.
Now add the soaked & washed rice dhal mix ,and grind to a smooth batter.
Now add the chopped tomatoes and grind well.
Transfer to a bowl.
Heat a dosa tawa and take a big spoonful of the batter , spread evenly and drizzle oil.
When its cooked flip the sides and allow the other side also to cook to light brown ,fold it half and take it off the pan.
Serve hot with coconut chutney / onion chutney.
