White Chicken Kurma is mild spiced and yet very rich.
Chicken cooked with spices and finally the addition of coconut and cashew paste is the highlight.
Chicken Kurma is always the show stealer and kids friendly too .This Kurma usually would adorn the lunc box when my kids were school going.

Cooking Time : 30 min
Ingredients :
Chicken 400 gms
Cinnamon 1"
Green chillies 7-10
Curry leaves few
Onions 2(sliced )
Potatoes 2(cubes)
Coriander powder 3/4 -1tsp
Coriander leaves to garnish
Oil 1-11/2 tbsp
Salt to taste
Grind to Paste :
Coconut 2-3tbsp(grated)
Cashew 7-9
Method :
In a pressure pan heat oil throw in cinnamon.
Add green chilly and curry leaves.
Add onions and salt , toss it , let the colour change.
Add chicken ,give it a toss.
Add ginger garlic paste and toss.
Add coriander powder and toss.
Add water ,give it a mix ,close and cook for 10 min.
Release the pressure , check if the meat is soft.
Add the potatoes ,toss.
Add the coconut cashew paste and close it lightly and cook .( 5-7 min)
Open the lid and check if potatoes are soft.
Let it simmer for few minutes.
Garnish with coriander leaves .
Serve hot with roti ,appam ,rice ,idly ,dosa ,iddiyyapam.
