Spicy tany rich treat !!
Its a sure shot and captivating .The coconut combined with spices is always a taste enhancer .
Ingredients :
Grind and extract a milky liquid :
- Puffed gram dhal 1 tbsp
- Poppy seeds 1tsp
- Coriander seeds 1tbsp
- Grated coconut 4 tbsp
- Ginger ¾ “
- Garlic 5
For seasoning :
- Small tomato 15 ( blanched )
- Big onion 1 ( chopped )
- Red chilly powder 1 ½ tsp
- Cinnamon 4
- Cloves 4
- Oil 1 tbsp
- Salt to taste
- Coriander leaves to garnish
Method :
- In a pan heat oil throw in spices , as it splutters add onions and fry till transparent.
- Now add the blanched tomatoes and toss.
- Add chilly powder ,the extracted milk and salt.
- Allow it to boil closed with a lid till the raw smell leaves .
- Garnish with coriander leaves.
- Serve hot with roti / idlly /doas.
