Spicy tany rich treat !!

Its a sure shot and captivating .The coconut combined with spices is always a taste enhancer .

Ingredients :

Grind and extract a milky liquid :

  • Puffed gram dhal 1 tbsp
  • Poppy seeds 1tsp
  • Coriander seeds 1tbsp
  • Grated coconut 4 tbsp
  • Ginger ¾ “
  • Garlic 5

For seasoning :

  • Small tomato 15 ( blanched )
  • Big onion 1 ( chopped )
  • Red chilly powder 1 ½ tsp
  • Cinnamon 4
  • Cloves 4
  • Oil 1 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Coriander leaves to garnish

Method :

  • In a pan heat oil throw in spices , as it splutters add onions and fry till transparent.
  • Now add the blanched tomatoes and toss.
  • Add chilly powder ,the extracted milk and salt.
  • Allow it to boil closed with a lid till the raw smell leaves .
  • Garnish with coriander leaves.
  • Serve hot with roti / idlly /doas.
