Protein packed and a treat to the taste buds.Easy to prepare.No fermentation required.The lentils can be soaked a couple of hours and can be blended with spices of your choice to get in the protein quotient for a meal.It’s easy on the pocket as well !!!
Ingredients :-
- Greengrams 1 cup
- Greenchilly 2-3 (red chilly can also be used )
- Ginger ½ ‘’
- Cummin ½ tsp
- Curryleaves a few
- Asafoetida ¼ tsp
- Salt to taste
Method :-
- Soak the dhal for minimum of 2-3 hours.
- In a mixer jar grind all other ingredients expect the dhal coarsely.
- Now add the washed dhal and make a coarse paste.
- Transfer to a container.
- Batter is ready to make dosa.
- Serve hot with tomato or coconut chutney.
Note :-
- Finely chopped any of the following ingredient to your preference can be added to the batter. onion,green chilli ,coriander leaves ,moringa leaves ,grated carrot .
