Hibiscus Juice or Shoe Flower Juice is a very healthy concentrate which sweeps the guests in awe !! This Hibiscus Flower is available at almost every doorstep .The health benefits are numerous. Its packed with anti oxidants , helps in lowering blood pressure and blood fat levels ,promotes weight loss.

Ingredients :

  • Sugar 11/2 cups
  • Red hibiscus flowers 15
  • Lime 2 ( juice )

Method :

  • In boiling water ( 750 ml) ,add sugar , let it thicken .
  • Clean and wash the petals .
  • Add it in the boiling water , switch off the flame ,close it for a while. ( 10 min)
  • The flowers loose colour .
  • Now add lime juice , the colour will change back to bright red colour.
  • Store it in a clean dry bottle.
  • When serving , add ¼ of the concentrate in a class ,with ice cubes , for the rest add water .
  • Serve with mint or basil leaves.
