Easy on the tummy & pocket too !!
Soya sundal is a very easy to handle dish.Its one of the healthy way out and filling on the stomach.
Its a different option from the regular legumes option.Its unlike the legumes not heavy or gassy on the tummy .
Ingredients :
- Soya chunks 1 cup
- Carrot 1or 2 ( grated )
- Coconut 2-3 tbsp ( grated )
- Lime ½ (juice )
- Ginger garlic paste ½ -3/4 tsp
- Onion 1 ( chopped )
- Green chilly 1or 2 ( to taste )
- Curry leaves a few
- Urad dhal ¼ tsp
- Mustard ¼ tsp
- Oil ¾ tbsp
- Salt to taste
Method :
- In boiling water add soya chunks and allow it to cook for 5-7 minutes.
- Set aside to cool.
- When it cools , squeeze out the water .
- In a pan heat oil ,throw in mustard as it splutters.
- Add urad dhal ,allow it to splutter.
- Add curry leaves , green chilly and onions ,let it change colour.
- Throw in ginger garlic paste ,toss it.
- Add the soya , salt ,lime juice and give it to a good toss.
- Garnish with coriander leaves and grated coconut.
- Serve hot .
