A SUPER HEALTHY TASTY CHUTNEY. A RARE COMBINATION FOR A CHUTNEY .KIDS WOULD ALSO LOVE IT.
Ingredients :
- Manathakalai keerai 1 cup
- Green chilly 3
- Puffed gram 1 tsp
- Coconut 2 tbsp
- Tamarind extract 1 tbsp
- Salt to taste
- Curry leaves a few
- Oil 1 tsp
Method :
- Heat oil in a kadai add green chillies curry leaves and toss.
- Add the keerai and saute .
- Add salt close and cook for a bit.
- Now open the lid and saute till water evaporates.
- Add coconut and puffed gram ,mix well .
- Grind to a coarse paste with tamarind extract .
- Tamper with mustard , uradh dhaal and red chilly. ( optional )
- Serve with rice / dosa /idly.
