A tasty yet simple ,easy dish. Makes one drool over.
One of my favorite and one of the best dish which my mom used to make.
Ingredients :
- Prawns 250 gms
- Ginger garlic paste ½ tsp
- Onion 1
- Garlic 1 tbsp ( chopped )
- Lime ½
- Turmeric ¼ tsp
- Pepper ½ tsps
- Capsicum ½ ( yellow & green )
- Curry leaves a few
- Green chilly 1 ( optional )
- Red chilly powder ½ tsp
- Oil 1 tbsp
- Salt to taste
Method :
- To the prawns add lime juice ,turmeric ,chilly powder and salt.( marinate for 20 min )
- In a pan heat oil ,add onions ,allow it to brown.
- Add ginger garlic paste and fry well.
- Now add curry leaves ,green chilly and garlic , toss a bit.
- Add the prawns ,mix well ,add a little water ,close and cook till it is soft.( 5-7 min)
- Care should be taken not to over cook ,as the prawns will turn rubbery.
- Once it is cooked ,open the lid ,fry well till oil seperates.
- Ground in pepper and mix.
- Garnish with capsicum and coriander leaves.
