A subtle combination of soya chunks and sauce with a chinese tilt.

Children will love this .Its packed with nutrition.

Ingredients :

  • Soya chunks 1cup
  • Milk ¼ cup
  • Soya sauce 1-2 tbsp [to taste ]
  • Pepper to taste
  • Salt to taste
  • Onions 2 [sliced ]
  • Capsicum 1-2 [sliced ]
  • Green chilly 2[slit]
  • Oil 1 tbsp

Method :

  • In boiling water add soya chunks ,allow it to soak for 15 min.
  • Squeeze out the water .
  • In a pressure pan / cooker cook the soya chunks with milk ,1/4 cup water , soya sauce salt and pepper,for 10 min or 3-4 whistles, add keep it aside.
  • In a kadai heat oil saute onions till brown.
  • Then add capsicum and chilly and toss it.
  • Its time to add the cooked soya ,stir well till all the milk and water residue is absorbed.
  • Serve hot.

Varation :

  • A combination of other sauces like tomato /chilly sauce can be added for a more spicy flavor.
