In my opinion this is one of the tastiest of its kind.

Its is very healthy ,easy and simple easy to make as well.Kids will love it !!

Ingredients :

  • Pumpkin 200 gms
  • Onion 1
  • Garlic 2-3
  • Bay leaf 1
  • Ghee ½ tsp
  • Salt to taste

Method :

  • In a pan heat ghee add bay leaf , garlic and onions, fry till browned.
  • Now add water ( 3 – 4 cups ),as it boils add pumpkin and salt .
  • Cover and cook till vegetable is soft.
  • Now when it reaches room temperature, remove the bay leaf and blend the mixture well.
  • Give it a boil .
  • Serve it hot .
  • Garnish with Italian spices or cheese or mint ( optional )

Note :

  • Milk or cream can be used for an enriched flavor.
  • With pumpkin a carrot or a potato or celery can be added for a change in flavor.
