A very different curry ,unlike the usual whole meat which is used ,this is an indo western style.The Western sausage meat is used in a curry with highly aromatic Indian spices. The bland taste of sausages sinks well with typical spices .It is a good choice for a lazy day.
Ingredients :
- Sausages 200 gms
- Onion 1
- Tomato 1
- Curry leaves a few
- Turmeric ¼ tsp
- Red chilly powder 1 tsp
- Coriander powder ¾ tsp
- Ginger garlic paste 11/2 tsp
- Oil 1 tbsp
- Salt to taste
Method :
- Heat oil in a pan ,fry onions to brown.
- Add tomato and fry will mushy.
- Add curry leaves and toss.
- Add ginger garlic paste and toss.
- Add red chilly powder and toss.
- Add water and give a mix.
- Add coriander powder ,turmeric and let it boil.
- Add the sausages ,close and cook for a couple of minutes.
- Open the lid and allow it to boil till raw smell leaves.
- Garnish with coriander leaves.
- Serve hot with roti / bread /rice/dosa /idly.
