Toor daal dosa

Protein enriched with addition of moringa /drumstick leaves makes it more healthy.Also moringa gives a different and enriched flavor .

Ingredients :

  • Toor Dhal 3/4 cup
  • Rice 1 cup
  • Red Chilly 4
  • Ginger ½ “
  • Cumin ¾ tsp
  • Curry leaves a few
  • Asfoetida ½ tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Coriander leaves a bunch
  • Oinons 1 ( chopped)
  • Moringa leaves a cup (optional )

Method :

  • Soak dhal and rice together for min of 3 hours .
  • Grind the ginger, red chilly ,curry leaves, asfoetida with salt together first.
  • Then add the rice and dhal and grind to a coarse paste.
  • Chop coriander leaves , onions, moringa to the batter.
  • Mix well and make thick dosa .
  • Serve hot with onion chutney.
