This is the staple diet in most of the households. What makes it unique is the small frying of chilly, but makes a huge difference in the taste.The flavor is more intense.

Ingredients :

  • Coconut I cup [grated ]
  • Green chilly 3
  • Coriander leaves 3 tbsp [chopped ]
  • Curry leaves a few
  • Puffed gram dhal 1 -2 t bsp
  • Tamarind ½ “ piece
  • Mustard 1/4 tsp
  • Urad dhal ¼ tsp
  • Red chilly I [broken ]
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil 1 tsp

Method:

  • In a small pan heat oil fry chilly ,coriander leaves and curry leaves.
  • Now add to the coconut ,puffed gram dhal ,salt and tamarind.
  • Grind to a coarse paste.
  • Tamper it with mustard ,urad dhal red chilly and curry leaves.
  • Served with all south indian food.
