A SUPER HEALTHY TASTY CHUTNEY. A RARE COMBINATION FOR A CHUTNEY .KIDS WOULD ALSO LOVE IT.

Ingredients :

  • Manathakalai keerai 1 cup
  • Green chilly 3
  • Puffed gram 1 tsp
  • Coconut 2 tbsp
  • Tamarind extract 1 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Curry leaves a few
  • Oil 1 tsp

Method :

  • Heat oil in a kadai add green chillies curry leaves and toss.
  • Add the keerai and saute .
  • Add salt close and cook for a bit.
  • Now open the lid and saute till water evaporates.
  • Add coconut and puffed gram ,mix well .
  • Grind to a coarse paste with tamarind extract .
  • Tamper with mustard , uradh dhaal and red chilly. ( optional )
  • Serve with rice / dosa /idly.
