This is a proper Kerala delicacy loved by one & all !!

Easy dish to make but only collecting the veggies together takes time & effort !!

One can also call it king of dishes or rich dish ,which would take a seat in thr spread an occassion be it wedding or any function you name it !!

Ingredients :-

  • Yam ½ cup
  • White pumpkin ½ cup
  • Carrot ½ cup
  • Beans ½ cup
  • Sanke guard ½ cup
  • Raw banana ½ cup
  • Drumstick ½ cup
  • Potatoes 1 (small )
  • Curry leaves a few
  • Coconut oil ¾ -1 tbsp
  • Thick curd ¾ – 1 cup ( to taste )
  • To grind to a coarse paste :-
  • Grated Coconut ¾ -1 cup
  • Green chilly 4-6 (to taste )

Method :-

  • Cut all veggies to lengthy pieces .
  • Cook them say ½ way , with ½ cup water & salt.
  • Add the ground paste & cook till raw smell fades away.
  • Make sure they are not over cooked.
  • Now as it hot ,wait for it to cool down.
  • When fully cooled add curd & mix it gently, making sure the veggies are not smashed or broken up.
  • Drizzle coconut oil .
  • Sprinkle curry leaves on it.

Note :-

A little care should be taken where one should not over cook the veggies. While mixing too ,wherein the veggies don’t get smashed .It would be a good idea to just to just take the vessel and juggle the veggies .When you add curd make sure the veggies are in room temperature ,for it would curdle when curd is added while its hot.It would be a good idea to add raw green mango too ,to this dish although authentically its a protocol. But personal prefrences too plays a role while a dish is cooked.
