Sweet Potato well known for its nutrional benefits and can be prepared in lot of varieties.
The taste is simply smooth & sweet which is a treat to the palate.
This dish is loved by all age group!!
It can be used with rice & chapati.
Ingredients :-
- Sweet potato 150 gms ( cubed )
- Coconut oil 1-11/2 tbsp
- Turmeric powder ¼ tsp
- Red chilly powder ½ -3/4 tsp ( to taste )
- Curry leaves a few
- Salt to taste
Method :-
- In a kadai heat oil.
- Toss in curry leaves & give it a toss.
- Add the sweet potato ,salt, turmeric & chilly powder.
- Toss it.Close with a lid and cook on slow flame ,stirring it on & off.
- Stir gently making sure the cubes are not broken.
- When it is soft ,fry well on slow flame till it turns crisp.
Note:-
- Potatoes ,Yam ,raw banana also can be prepared in the same way.
