This is definitely heart stealing dish !!!

An easy quick fix dish !!!

Its made with minimalistic ,always available ingredients in the household.

This was my mom’s favourite dish and it was always laid in the spread whenever we had guests . I guess that i have also picked up the same from her , realised that of late and have made it a point to cook this when guests make an appearance for a meal.

Ingredients :

  • Boiled Eggs 4
  • Onion 1( chopped)
  • Tomatoes 2 ( chopped )
  • Cinnamon 1’

Grind to paste :

  • Green chilly 3
  • Onions 15 nos
  • Turmeric powder ¼ tsp
  • Coriander powder ¾ tsp
  • Garlic 3-4 pearls ( optional )
  • Coriander leaves a cup
  • Oil 1 tbsp
  • Salt to taste

Method :

  • In a pan heat oil add cinnamon ,let it splutter.
  • Add onions and allow it to brown.
  • Then add tomatoes ,let it get mushy.
  • Now add the ground paste and toss a bit.
  • Add water ,salt and mix.
  • Close and cook for a bit.
  • When the raw smell fades add boiled eggs and slowly toss. Let it cook for a few minutes.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves.
  • Serve hot with Roti / rice /dosa.
