Green Cabbage Curry

A quick curry nevertheless delicious heart steeling one !! It acts as quick fix at the sudden burst of guests and turns them to finger licking folks.

Ingredients :

  • Cabbage 1 cup ( chopped )
  • Onion 1
  • Cinnamon 2”
  • Red chilly 1
  • Curry leaves a few
  • Oil 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste

Grind to paste :

  • Coconut 2 tbsp
  • Ginger ½ “
  • Garlic 4 – 5
  • Fennel ½ tsp
  • Puffed gram daal 1 tsp

Method :

  • In a pan heat oil , throw in cinnamon ,as it splutters add onions and curry leaves ,let it brown.
  • Now add the cabbage and toss.
  • Add salt .
  • Time to add the paste with required water ,close and cook for a few minutes.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves.
  • Serve hot with idly/ dosa / roti.
