A quick curry nevertheless delicious heart steeling one !! It acts as quick fix at the sudden burst of guests and turns them to finger licking folks.
Ingredients :
- Cabbage 1 cup ( chopped )
- Onion 1
- Cinnamon 2”
- Red chilly 1
- Curry leaves a few
- Oil 1 tsp
- Salt to taste
Grind to paste :
- Coconut 2 tbsp
- Ginger ½ “
- Garlic 4 – 5
- Fennel ½ tsp
- Puffed gram daal 1 tsp
Method :
- In a pan heat oil , throw in cinnamon ,as it splutters add onions and curry leaves ,let it brown.
- Now add the cabbage and toss.
- Add salt .
- Time to add the paste with required water ,close and cook for a few minutes.
- Garnish with coriander leaves.
- Serve hot with idly/ dosa / roti.
