A very tasty creamy masala ,which is always a sure shot.
Kids friendly and also makes one go for a second helping.
Ingredients :
- Prawns 250 gms
- Onions 1
- Tomatoes 2
- Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
- Red chilly Powder 1 tsp (to taste )
- Coriander Powder ¾ tsp
- Turmeric Powder ¼ tsp
- Coconut milk 1 cup
- Salt to taste
- Oil 1 tbsp
Method :
- In a pan heat oil, add onions and fry well.
- Add tomatoes and allow it to get mushy.
- Add ginger garlic paste and fry .
- Add the dry ingredients and toss.
- Add water , salt and allow it to cook till raw smell leaves.
- Add the prawns and toss.
- Close and cook for 2 -3 minutes. (do not over cook ,as the prawns may turn rubbery )
- Now open the lid and fry for few minutes for the oil to surface.
- Now add coconut milk and switch off the flame.
- Garnish with coriander leaves.
- Serve hot with rice.
Note :
- Fish can also be made in the same way.
