Rich creamy kheer !!

Kiddies Friendly !!

A One of the most easiest and tasty sweets.

What is special ,is the almond paste addition ,which makes it drooling.

Ingredients

  • Sabudana 1 cup
  • Sugar 1 cup
  • Almonds 9 – 10
  • Milk 1 tbsp
  • Saffron few strands
  • Ghee 1 tsp
  • Cashew 7 – 9
  • Raisins 10 – 15
  • Cardamom ¼ tsp

Method :

  • In a pan heat ghee fry cashew and raisins ,set aside.
  • Warm the milk and soak the saffron strands for a few minutes, the milk color will change.
  • Soak almond in hot water and blanch them and grind to a paste.
  • In a saucepan heat ghee and fry sabudana ,till it splutters, set aside.
  • Boil water in a pan and add the sabudana, let it cook till soft.
  • Now add sugar ,allow it to cook well.
  • Now add the milk to the sabudana mixture.
  • Time to add the almond paste , give it a boil.
  • Switch off the flame.
  • Add the cardamom powder ,fried raisins and cashew.
  • Serve hot.

Note :

  • If the kheer has turned thick add some milk.
