Rich creamy kheer !!

A One of the most easiest and tasty sweets.
What is special ,is the almond paste addition ,which makes it drooling.
Ingredients
- Sabudana 1 cup
- Sugar 1 cup
- Almonds 9 – 10
- Milk 1 tbsp
- Saffron few strands
- Ghee 1 tsp
- Cashew 7 – 9
- Raisins 10 – 15
- Cardamom ¼ tsp
Method :
- In a pan heat ghee fry cashew and raisins ,set aside.
- Warm the milk and soak the saffron strands for a few minutes, the milk color will change.
- Soak almond in hot water and blanch them and grind to a paste.
- In a saucepan heat ghee and fry sabudana ,till it splutters, set aside.
- Boil water in a pan and add the sabudana, let it cook till soft.
- Now add sugar ,allow it to cook well.
- Now add the milk to the sabudana mixture.
- Time to add the almond paste , give it a boil.
- Switch off the flame.
- Add the cardamom powder ,fried raisins and cashew.
- Serve hot.
Note :
- If the kheer has turned thick add some milk.
