A simple recipe which would please every one and suit lot of dishes.The mild blend of whole species with ginger garlic results in a very drooling curry.This has never failed to capture hearts .
Ingredients :
- Grind to paste :
- Small onions : 10 nos
- Green chilly : 4 nos
- Garlic pearls: 3 nos
- Ginger : ½ “
- Cashew : 5 nos
- Coriander seeds: 1 tsp
- Coconut: 4 tbsp [grated ]
- Cinnamon: 1’ 1 no
- Cloves: 3nos
- Cardamom: 2nos
- Fennel : ¼ tsp
- Poppy seeds : ¾ tsp
To season :
- Oil : 1 tbsp
- Cinnamon 1 ‘ 1 no
- Onion 1 [chopped ]
- Tomatoes 2 [chopped ]
- Curry leaves a few
- Vegetables a bowl diced [carrot ,cauliflower,potatoes ,peas ]
Method :
- In a pan add oil slide in cinnamon as it splutters add onions as it browns add tomatoes wait for it to turn mushy.
- Add veggies and toss.
- Add the ground paste with required amount of water with salt ,close the lid and cook till veggies are tender and raw smell leaves. .
- Garnish with coriander leaves.
- This is usually a sure shot !!!
