Prawn Ridge gourd Curry

Tasty Dish !!

Prawns and Ridge gourd are best friends !!

They blend so well and one has to make a great attempt to stop eating this curry .

Ingredients :

  • Prawns 250 gms
  • Oinions 6-7
  • Curry leaves a few
  • Ridge gourd 1 cup
  • Oil 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste

Grind to taste :

  • Green chilly 4
  • Coconut 1 cup

Method :

  • In a pan heat oil add onions and curry leaves ,allow it to change color.
  • Add the prawns and toss .
  • Add the ground paste with required water and salt to taste.
  • Close and cook for few minutes ,for the prawns to get soft .Over cooking can make the prawns rubbery.
  • Open the lid and give it a boil or to the required consistency.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves.
