Spicy Squid Masala

Spicy Squid Masala is simply delicious .The addition of ginger, garlic ,green chilly with coriander powder makes it simply superb .One of the tastiest of sea food is Squid .

Ingredients :

  • Squid 250 gms
  • Onion 1 ( chopped )
  • Red chilly 1
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil 3/4 tbsp
  • Grind to paste :
  • Garlic 3 pearls
  • Ginger ½ “
  • Green Chilly 4
  • Coriander Powder ½ tsp
  • Turmeric ¼ tsp

Method :

  • In a pan heat coconut oil ,throw in onions ,let it change colour.
  • Now add the ground paste ,give it a toss, add little water & salt ,give it a good mix.
  • Add the squid ,stir it ,check for the salt ,if need be add some salt .
  • Close and cook .( 5-7 min ) . Make sure it does not get over cooked as it can get rubbery.
  • Now open the lid ,if water still remains fry well till water evaporates.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves.
  • Serve hot with rice or roti.
