A simply delicious kuzhambu !!

In the earlier when we packed breakfast whenever we went on trips this was the curry that would go each and every single time ,WITHOUT FAIL !!
Ingredients :
- Mustard ¼ tsp
- Urad dhal ¼ tsp
- Onions 4 -5
- Curry leaves a few
- Red chilly 1
Fry in oil & grind to paste :
- Oil 2 tbsp
- Onions 8-10
- Red chilly 3-4
- Coconut 2 tbsp
- Puffed gram 1 tsp
- Curry leaves a few
- Turmeric ¼ tsp
- Coriander seeds 1 tbsp
- Tomatoes 3 – 4
Method :
- In a pan heat oil ,throw in mustard ,urad dhal allow it to splutter.
- Add onions, curry leaves and red chilly ,let it brown.
- Add the ground paste with required water and salt to taste ,let it cook till raw smell leaves.
- Garnish with coriander leaves.
- Serve hot with idly ,dosa.
