Festive Delights !!

A healthy festive must have.The protien with spice and lemony treat .

Ingredients :

  • Cooked peanuts 1 cup
  • Sprouted Black Channa 1 cup
  • Kabuli Channa 1 cup
  • Ginger 11/2 tsp
  • Carrot ½ cup ( grated )
  • Coconut 3 tbsp ( grated )
  • Onions 2 tbsp
  • Green chilly 3 (slit )
  • Red chilly 3 ( broken )
  • Asafoetida ¾ tsp
  • Curry leaves a few
  • Lime juice 11/2 tsp
  • Oil 3 tsp
  • Mustard ¾ tsp
  • Urad dhal ¾ tsp
  • Rasam powder ¼ tsp

Method :

  • Cook all the dhal . ( take care it doesn’t get over cooked )

Sprouted Black Channa

  • In a kadai heat oil ,add mustard ,urad dhal .
  • As it splutters add curry leaves ,red & green chilly ,chopped ginger and onions ,allow it to brown.
  • Add the cooked sprouted dhal and fry till a nice aroma comes .
  • Add asafoetida , salt to taste ,grated coconut and lime juice .
  • Stir well and serve hot.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves .( optional)

Kabuli Channa

  • In a pan heat oil add mustard ,urad dhal.
  • As it splutters add curry leaves ,red & green chilly ,chopped ginger and onions ,allow it to brown.
  • Add the cooked kabuli channa and fry till a nice aroma comes .
  • Add asafoetida , salt to taste, rasam powder ,grated coconut and lime juice.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves.

Peanut with carrot

  • In a pan heat oil add mustard ,urad dhal.
  • As it splutters add curry leaves ,red & green chilly and chopped ginger and toss.
  • Add grated carrot and toss.
  • Add the cooked peanuts and fry till a nice aroma comes .
  • Add asafoetida , salt to taste ,grated coconut and lime juice.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves.
